JOB SUMMARY
Responsible, visible, civilian position that supervises the Criminal Process Assistant Supervisor and Criminal Process Technicians. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the Criminal Process Technician and review Criminal Process Technician members’ work periodically. This position will be responsible for training within the unit, which includes but is not limited to: orchestrating weekly training for the staff, working with the staff to develop each member’s performance, and organizing the training for new Criminal Process Technicians. Works closely with, and handles the day to day issues with the staff. Coordinates and works with various sections within PSO and outside Criminal Justice Stakeholders. EOE/ADA
Requirements
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSES
High School Equivalent (Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma) required. Computer, clerical skills as well as knowledge of FCIC/NCIC systems and Law Enforcement activity required. A minimum of three (3) years of criminal justice stakeholder and administrative systems experience required. Experience with NCIC entry/removal and/or Teletype required. Two years of supervisory experience preferred. Experience as a trainer preferred. Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be FCIC/NCIC Full Access certified and must obtain access to DAVID in order to perform job functions. Must maintain valid Florida driver license at all times. Unescorted CJIS clearance as authorized by FDLE is required.
