The City of Largo is looking for our next Police Chief. In this role, you will set and execute a clear strategic vision that aligns with community needs and organizational priorities while leading and optimizing police operations to ensure modern, effective, and responsive service delivery. Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement related area 
• Ten (10) years of proven experience in law enforcement; five (5) as major or above
• Valid or Ability to Qualify for Police Officer Certification
• Valid driver’s license 

Preferred:  

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Attendance at senior management program (e.g FBI National Academy, SIMP, SPI)
• Track record of continued professional development and strategic leadership
