Description
JOB SUMMARY
This is a clerical position, which involves data entry and the updating of employee received agency property, purchase orders, supplies and uniforms in compliance with agency directives and best purchasing practices. This position is also responsible for assisting with maintaining store inventory, deliveries on an as needed basis, uniform fittings, boot fittings, ballistic vest fittings, and compiling completed orders and arranging for delivery/pickup. NOTE
It is understood that every incidental duty connected with operations enumerated in job descriptions are not always specifically described and personnel, at the discretion of the Sheriff's Office may be required to perform duties not within their job descriptions. This position is not eligible for an assigned agency vehicle.

Preference-eligible applicants claiming Veteran’s Preference will be required to submit supporting documentation. Waiver of postsecondary educational requirements is not applicable for this position.
Requirements
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSES
High School Equivalent (Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma) and computer knowledge and experience required. Associate’s Degree preferred. Purchasing or retail experience preferred. Must maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License at all times. Unescorted CJIS clearance as authorized by FDLE is required.
MINIMUM PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The physical abilities listed below are estimates of time spent during a typical workday to perform essential functions and responsibilities. Members in this position may be required to:
Sit up to 5 hours per day
Stand up to 2 hours per day
Walk up to 2 hours per day
Occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
Daily bending, squatting, reaching, kneeling or twisting
Other Requirements:
Valid Florida Driver’s License
20/40 vision (corrected/uncorrected)
Ability to hear conversation at a normal level (assisted or unassisted)
Ability to work shift work
